# App & Chart Updates


### App Updates

We release new versions of the Savvy Navvy app **almost every week**. These updates often include:

* **New features** to enhance your navigation experience
* **Bug fixes** to resolve reported issues
* **Performance improvements** for smoother, faster use

Depending on your device settings, updates may install automatically, or you might need to confirm them manually through your device’s app store.

We recommend enabling **automatic updates** so you always have the latest version and benefit from the newest features and fixes.


###### How to Check if You’re on the Latest Version

1. **Open your device’s app store** (Google Play Store for Android, App Store for iOS).
2. Search for **Savvy Navvy**.
3. If you see an **Update** button, tap it to install the latest version.
4. If you only see **Open**, you’re already up to date.

### **Chart Updates**

Our nautical charts are **updated regularly** based on the latest information from hydrographic offices. These updates **do not require** you to download a new app version — they happen automatically in the background, ensuring your charts are as accurate as possible.
