# Can I ask for alternate routes?

Currently, Savvy Navvy calculates and provides **one optimal route** based on real-time wind, tide, and chart data, as well as your boat’s settings. This ensures you get the safest and most efficient passage plan possible.

If you’d like to adjust the suggested route, you can drop **multiple waypoints** to make the route pass through specific locations or avoid certain areas.

We are exploring ways to offer **alternative route options** in the future — for example, modes tailored for racing or cruising — so stay tuned for updates.
