# How to Search for Lat Lon Coordinates

Searching by latitude and longitude in Savvy Navvy is a quick way to pinpoint an exact location on the chart — ideal for navigating to specific coordinates from notices to mariners, guidebooks, or shared waypoints. The app currently supports **Degrees and Decimal Minutes (DDM)** format, allowing you to drop a pin precisely where you need it and instantly plot a route or save the location for later.

###### Make sure to:

* Use a space between degrees and decimal minutes
* Include direction letters (N/S/E/W)
* Separate latitude and longitude with a comma

⚠️ Savvy Navvy does not currently support Degrees-Minutes-Seconds (DMS) or pure decimal degrees (DD) in search.

###### When entered correctly, the app will drop a pin at the specified location, allowing you to:

* Add a waypoint
* Share the coordinates
* Tap **Navigate to**
