# Points of Interest: Marinas, Anchorages & More

Savvy Navvy’s interactive chart is packed with **Points of Interest (POIs)** to help you plan, navigate, and discover useful locations on the water. These include **marinas, anchorages, and Sea Tow locations**, with rich information sourced from trusted partners so you can make confident decisions while cruising.

### Where Our Data Comes From

* **Europe:** Marinas and anchorages are sourced from **Navily**, a leading community-driven platform for boaters.
* **United States:** Data comes from **Waterway Guide**, a trusted source for US boating information.
* **Sea Tow Locations:** Exclusive to the US, showing where you can get towing assistance if needed.

###### Viewing POIs on the Chart


Simply tap a marker to open detailed information for that location. You can identify POIs by their markers on the chart. 

* **Blue anchor icon** = Anchorage
* **Blue marina icon** = Marina
* **Sea Tow icon** = Towing service location

###### What You Can Do with POIs

When viewing any POI — whether a marina, anchorage, or Sea Tow location — you can:

* **Navigate To** – Instantly plot a route from your current location.
* **Add Waypoint** – Insert the POI into a route you’re currently planning.
* **Save** – Keep it in your saved places for quick reference later.
* **Share** – Send the location details to friends or crew.

### Types of POIs

###### Anchorages
Anchorages provide safe spots to drop anchor, along with helpful conditions and community feedback. You’ll see:

* **Description** – General overview of the anchorage.
* **Weather Protection** – Which wind directions the anchorage protects you from.
* **Reviews** – User feedback on holding quality, swell, noise, and overall experience.


###### Marinas
Marina information is detailed and comprehensive so you can plan stops with confidence:

**Facilities:**

* VHF channel number
* Phone number & website
* Number of berths available
* Maximum boat length & draft

**Available Amenities:**

* Fuel (Gas, Diesel)
* Pump-out services
* Toilets & showers
* Security
* Laundry facilities
* Ice & chandlery
* Crane/lift
* Shore power (Electricity)
* Fresh water
* Wi-Fi access

**Additional Info:**

* Description of the marina and surroundings
* Reviews from other boaters


###### Sea Tow Locations (US only)
For US boaters, Sea Tow locations are marked so you know where assistance is available in case of breakdowns or emergencies.
