Once you've dropped your two pins, one for your start and one for your finish location, savvy navvy will automatically calculate the best route for you, providing your expected arrival time and distance.

Once this is done you can click "preview" where you will see your route activate and your screen will look like this.

savvy navvy will then show you your Course Over Ground (COG), boat speed and wind reading. This will enable you to virtually go through your route before you set off, viewing each waypoint, and the proposed time you will reach each point, as you go.

At this point you can also use our waypoint extraction feature to export your waypoints for use with your chart plotter.
