Can your algorithm produce a single CTS for the whole route?
At present, savvy navvy's algorithm is unable to provide our users with a single Course to Steer (CTS) for the entire route. While our routing algorithm strives to optimize navigation by calculating the fastest way across a passage, it may involve multiple course corrections to achieve this goal.
We recognize that for leisure passages, it would be more practical to have a single CTS for the entire route. We are actively working on improving our routing algorithm to provide a smoother and more efficient navigation experience, including the implementation of a single CTS option. However, we do not yet have a definitive timeline for when this feature will be available.
In the meantime, savvy navvy continues to offer comprehensive route planning and navigation tools to assist boaters in navigating safely and efficiently. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work towards enhancing our services to better meet the needs of our users.
