How to Change Units in the App

Savvy Navvy supports both imperial and metric measurements, so you can view distances, depths, speeds, and other data in the units you’re most comfortable with.

Changing units ensures the app matches your preferences—whether that’s knots or miles per hour, feet or meters, Celsius or Fahrenheit.

How to Change Your Units

Open the Main Menu

Tap the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top left corner of the screen.

Go to Boat Settings

Select Boat Settings from the menu.

Open the Units Tab

Tap Units to see all available measurement options.

Select Your Preferred Units

You can set different units for:

•. Depth – meters or feet

•. Distance – nautical miles, kilometers, or miles

•. Boat Speed – knots, meters/sec, miles/hour, or kilometers/hour

•. Wind Speed – knots, meters/sec, miles/hour, kilometers/hour, or Beaufort scale

•. Fuel – liters or gallons

•. Temperature – Celsius or Fahrenheit

Why It Matters

Choosing familiar units makes navigation faster and easier, reduces confusion, and helps you make better on-water decisions.
