How Do I Edit My Home Port in Savvy Navvy?

You can edit your home port at any time, either from your Logbook or directly on the chart. Both methods open the same screen you used to set it originally.



How to Edit Your Home Port

From the Logbook

  1. Go to Logbook → Markers → Home Port.
  2. Tap the three dots next to it.
  3. Tap Edit.


From the chart

  1. Zoom into the home port icon on the chart.
  2. Tap on the icon.
  3. Tap the Edit Port button.


Either way opens the Select Your Home Port screen, where you can search, enter coordinates, tap the chart, or use your current location to choose the new spot. Once you've picked the new location, tap Save.


Edge Cases and Caveats

  • Editing your home port updates its location, it doesn't create a second one. Savvy Navvy only supports one home port at a time.
  • Any routes or plans you've already created using the old home port location won't update automatically. You'll need to replot those with the new location if needed.
